Cupping creates a vacuum which loosens adhered tissue by pulling fresh blood and lymph into the area. (Think of it as rehydrating your tissue)
The Ironclad therapists are trained in-house in cupping techniques to enhance your therapeutic massage session. Some marks or “cup kisses” will be left behind as a reminder of the work that was done but won’t last long! (These marks are not bruises but the remainder of fluid pulled to the surface. Your body will disperse this naturally!)
Cupping at Ironclad is done in combination with therapeutic massage techniques and we use silicone (pictured above) or vacuum cups. There is no fire cupping done at our office… (you’re welcome fire marshall!)
Our therapists are trained to use the Theragun Elite on trouble spots. Percussive therapy can eliminate hard to manipulate areas, increase range of motion and soften scar tissue. Theragun can be added on to most sessions for $10.00
